🌴 Caribbean Splash 2025 — Feel the Connection

On June 28th, 2025, the pulse of the Caribbean will take over Capital C in Curaçao for the third edition of Caribbean Splash — the island’s most vibrant celebration of music, culture, and community.

After two highly successful editions, this year promises to raise the bar even higher. Caribbean Splash is more than just a festival. It’s a meeting place for the Caribbean diaspora, a night where islanders from across the globe come together to dance, connect, and celebrate who we are.

From Dancehall, Afrobeats, and Soca to the unmistakable sounds of YDK talent and Urban Caribbean beats, the line-up is built to move both body and soul. This year’s artists include:

  • Konshens (Jamaica)

  • Oxlade (Nigeria)

  • Nailah Blackman (Trinidad & Tobago)

  • Issairo (Curaçao)

  • Plus DJs RO-1, Kembe, Krokzz, Henry X and the Madagaska Twins — spinning the hottest sounds all night long.

But Caribbean Splash is about more than music. It’s about belonging. About celebrating Caribbean identity in all its colors and flavors.

Expect a full festival experience with a curated food court, cold drinks, chill-out zones, and the kind of island energy that can only be found in Curaçao.

The last years visitors joined us from Aruba, Bonaire, Sint Maarten, Suriname, the Netherlands, and the US. This year, we’re going even bigger.

Dj Kembe

DJ King Kembe grew up as Dekembe Molina on the beautiful island of Sint Maarten with dreams of becoming an entertainer. FESTIVAL LOCATION

Caribbean Splash Festival will be held at Capital C(outside). About a 1-minute drive from HATO airport.  Upon arrival, please follow the signs towards the festival entrance for your section. In case of a traffic diversion please follow instructions provided by security.

OPENING HOURS

The Festival will start on Friday from 8PM – 2AM.

Happy hour 8pm-9pm

AGE & ID REQUIREMENTS

The festival is open to people from 18 years and up.

If you are between 15 – 17 years old, you can only enter with adult supervision.

 

ID REQUIREMENTS

The festival security can ask for your identification to check your age. Please bring a valid ID. Accepted ID’s are passports, drivers license or sedula.

TOKENS

Please be informed that we will ONLY be using tokens. 1 token is 5,00 XCG(about $3 USD) but can also be broken in half to 2,50 XCG. Tokens are used for drinks, food and crafts.

SWIPE MACHINES

There are swipe machines at the token booths where you can pay Euros, USD or XCG.

CASH

You can also use cash to buy tokens. Only cash XCG and USD are accepted.  On the VIP tables deck cash is also accepted to buy bottles of top shelf liquor.

TICKETS

There is no separate VIP standing or General standing tickets. There is just the general admission ticket that will allow you to take place up to the front of stage.

FOOD COURT

FOOD & DRINKS

No food or drinks will be allowed into the festival site.  Our food vendors at the Caribbean Food Court will serve all kinds of delicious food options from international and local cuisine. Think Caribbean flavours but also soups, soft drinks and more.

FESTIVAL RULES
• When entering the festival, you give permission to be photographed by us.  You are not allowed to bring your own professional equipment  without an approved press pass.
• Ins and outs are not allowed.  •You are not allowed to sell merchandise or items without our approval.
• Flyers, promotion or any type of advertisement is not allowed during the festival without our approval.
• There is a zero-tolerance policy for soft and hard drugs. Meaning no drugs are allowed and entrance to the festival meaning no drugs are allowed and entrance to the festival may be denied.

BAG POLICY

You are allowed to bring a handbag as long as it’s not bigger than the size of an A4 paper ( +- 30×20 cm or 12×8 inches). Bigger bags such as backpacks, sports, duffel or weekend bags are not allowed.

EMERGENCY & FIRST AID

During the Festival, there will be security and first aid staff present. For any emergency, locate a member of staff who will be able to assist or locate the correct assistance.

 

PRESS POLICY

All media, sponsoring, press enquiries will have their badge. Please ensure to include the details of your publication.  Our camera policy is that as long as your equipment is not professional audiovisual, you can make photos and videos with a digital camera.

 

MERCHANDISE

There will be Binti Ocho merchandise available at the official merchandise stand.

How hot is it in Curacao?

The average temperature in June is 30 degrees “Celsius” (86 degrees “Fahrenheit”)  in Willemstad, with 12 hours of sunshine.

What currency do I need to bring?

The official currency used is the XCG, which can be bought easily at the bank, the post office or at the airport. 1 USD = 1.82 XCG

What is the local language?

The main language spoken in Curacao is Papiamento.

Where should I book my accommodation?

Curacao is a highly sought-after destination with a large choice of fantastic hotels, villas, and apartments. To be closer to the festival action, we recommend choosing accommodation in these areas: Otrobanda, Willemstad or Jan Thiel.  Your festival experience is about to get even better!
